My MusingsThis is not my typical read, but I did enjoy this book a great deal. Ms. Ensley has an incredible imagination. She has great talent with character building and weaves a fascinating tale. I would have liked a bit less modern verbiage at times and a better sense of time a place. That would have helped become a bit more enmeshed with the story.
Nonetheless, for anyone who enjoys a story with a strong message of good versus evil, then you will be delighted with this incredible book. Happy reading!

This book is a fantastic story from beginning to end. The characters and their stories intertwined to keep you wanting more. Jenevier's pure heart, her journey and transformation all combined to touch all who came in contact with her. What will happen next? Will good triumph over evil? Cursed by Diamonds is a "must read" and I am anxiously waiting for her saga to continue!
"Cursed by Diamonds" was a unique and original story and presentation. It is very well written and captivating. Once I got into it, I couldn't wait to get time to read some more. I looked forward to every chapter to see how things unfolded. The author has done an excellent job presenting this fantasy in snippets that keep the reader wanting more. I am going to reread it to catch some things I may have missed the first time through and to make myself ready for Book 2. I will definitely want to follow this Dance with Destiny all the way through. Thanks, Jennifer, for sharing your little day dream with us!!! It is very entertaining!!!
If you want to read a magical story here it is. A story about a young woman that has to go from being average to being marked by darkness and her journey to becoming someone extraordinary. Her journey and the journey of her friends is fascinating and you want to know what is going to happen to them next. Wonderful characters and very well written. I am waiting for the next book in this series.
"Cursed by Diamonds" resonates with wonderfully descriptive imagery, delightfully original characters, and a magically captivating story. Places and things found only in dreams and fantasies are visited throughout this beautifully written ethereal tale. Love and perfect destiny tangle together with vengeance and inner struggle creating a suspenseful balance of bittersweet circumstance. "Cursed By Diamonds" also evokes powerful and emotionally stirring ideas of good versus evil, dark and light, and a majestic, omnific God. Presented in a REFRESHINGLY unique layout, this book takes the reader on a one-of-a-kind journey to be remembered. I could not stop reading it and cannot wait to see what J.K. Ensley has in store in her next adventure!
This is not a tired variation of an old story. The plot is almost constant unexpected twists. Thank you Ms. Ensley for your fresh writing!
I will be the first to admit that this is not the easiest story to start. I have started this book more than once. I am however glad that I did not give up. The ending of this book was amazing and I am so happy that I don't have to wait for the next one.
I love books. I have read such diverse genres as Homeric poetry, Shakespeare, horror, science fiction, biographies and crime dramas. I don't generally read fantasy novels with the exception being J.R.R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. I never read romance novels. I would describe this story as a romantic fantasy. The characters are well developed. The imagery had me spellbound. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
